52 on Friday ~ week 8

This week’s theme:  alone

The ever great debate on whether or not white is a color or not will continue…. but you have to agree its lonely being either all the colors made up in one or none of the colors = either way it stands out from the rest… and could be alone when compared to the others…. good thing we don’t compare our colors…. well, I don’t anyway.   Enjoy!

52 on Friday ~ week 7

This weeks theme is: Together

I was trying to over think this one… obvious thoughts were relationships, but I was thinking in the human nature this week, which was challenging me as to how I could accomplish this…. and then thanks to my mom this afternoon she offered the idea of “items” that go together such as her suggestion: peanut butter & jelly.

Ah yes!  That’s it!  I didn’t go with peanut butter & jelly, but with yet another yummy traditional favorite…… cookies & milk, who can resist!?!

Enjoy!  Be sure to continue the stream by checking out our other amazing photographers and what they came up with for this week… Start by clicking HERE ~ Mark of Roxy Creative

This weeks theme is: LOVE

Way too many directions for this theme to go……. Whichever way this went it would be a journey, a trip, a discovery of what it means to be in love, to feel love, to lose love, to express it, to hope for it….. I felt it best described through a couple quotes I found on-line:

“Loves Journey”

by Amanda Prescott

The road to happiness is laiden with twists and turns, sharp and winding. The obstacles never ending. Each day gives us hope for a brighter tomorrow, new beginings. The promise of things to come. Our hopes and dreams never fading, nor will we allow it.

When the days wear long and it seems I can barely hold on, I close my eyes and think of you. And just as the warmth of the sun touches my skin, I recall how you have touched my heart.

I take a deep breathe and sigh. I picture your smile, the innocence in your laughter.         I think of how you have brought so much love, faith, hope and happiness into my life. Proving that true love really does exist. I think of your touch, the warmth in your embrace. I feel your strength in everything that you do. And it gives me the strength and courage to push forward. I’ve never felt so complete or so alive till I found you.

I open my eyes, smiling. Knowing nothing can bring me down. The road to happiness has been long. Sometimes taking us down a worn and beaten path. Our faith in love has pulled us through, showing us the way. And so, we shall walk side by side, eternally, through our loves journey.

52 on Friday ~ week 5

This weeks theme:  RED

I have yet again procrastinated… yikes!  So this afternoon I just pulled the camera out and started taking pictures of things that were red:  my front door, because I love doors, and well it was red; my tile address because it had red chili’s on it, and then the front of my license plate “chili head” because again there were red chili’s on it……) hoping for some inspiration under a bit of pressure…  Not only have I procrastinated even today, a friend had an emergency come up and needed me to watch her most adorable little people for a couple hours….

So here’s what I came up with after playing a bit with

a certain red item on our Airstream…
